If you are still wondering how to get started with Shoppertise Pocketbook, read on!
Pocketbook is designed for small business owners who are looking for smarter and safer ways to sell their products and services online and on-the-go.
With Pocketbook, you can automate time-consuming tasks easily and set up a mobile store in just 5 minutes. Here are some examples of how Pocketbook can make life easier for you:
Pocketbook has a built in payment processing feature so you can accept online debit transfers right from the app. It is integrated with RHB Bank (a leading bank in Asia) via MyClear (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Central Bank Malaysia).
Later this year, we will be integrating with PayPal (a worldwide online payment system) so you can do business globally seamlessly.
FPX is a convenient and secure online payment solution that allows for real-time debit of your internet banking accounts. It is usually available 24 hours daily or with scheduled downtimes based on your bank’s service conditions.
The participating banks are Affin Bank, Alliance Bank, Bank Islam, Bank Muamalat, CIMB Bank, HongLeong Bank, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC, Public Bank and RHB Bank.
Payments received through Shoppertise will be released on a monthly basis to your chosen bank account via online debit. We do not have a minimum payout requirement, so you'll get your hard-earned monies every month. Furthermore, unlike other payment gateways, we do not charge any additional settlement or transfer fees so all your earnings belong to you!
We also understand that some of you prefer to receive payments on a weekly basis. This customised service is now available if you sign up for our Premium Plan at a minimal fee of RM99.00 per year (that's only about RM8.00 per month!). Read more about our pricing here
Our basic features are FREE and available to all users. The only fee you'd have to pay is the standard transaction fee when using the payment gateway.
But if you have more than 20 online transactions in a month, we'd suggest that you sign up for our Premium Plan that entitles you to great savings. Read more about our pricing here
We charge a flat fee of RM2.00 for every successful online transaction. If you sign up for our Premium Plan, the transaction fee goes lower at a flat fee of RM1.50. Read more about our pricing here
Yes, you may use both platforms or stick to the one that you're most comfortable with. We are working on integrating both platforms in Q4 2016 so you would only need to input your item details once.
First, you would need a smartphone or a tablet. Once you've got that, you just need to follow these steps to get started:
Pocketbook is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and our servers are located in the cloud. The AWS cloud infrastructure has been designed to be one of the most secure cloud computing environments with PCI DSS certification -- a standard that specifies best practices and various security controls.
On top of the security features that are built into the AWS service, we also employ:
128-bit SSL encryption for all data transfer on the platform
Daily backups of all your data, in case anything goes wrong
Security protocols in all our work premises
Pocketbook is designed to be mobile-first and currently optimised for iOS and Android smartphones. It is also compatible with iPads and Android tablets. We do not have a web-based version yet so you can’t use it on a desktop computer or laptop.
Yes, but you will not be able to accept online payment. You will only be able to record cash sales.
Follow these steps:
Tap on the inventory icon
Next, tap on any item to view the details
You will see a Quick Buy module. Tap on 'Copy' to copy the unique link and paste on any browser (Internet Explorer/Chrome/Safari). You will be able to view the Quick Buy page that your customer will receive.
Unfortunately, we are currently operational only in Malaysia. But you can always tell us where you're from and we will notify you when we are available in your country.
You may contact our friendly support staff directly for assistance. We're always happy to help!
